John Taylor, English publisher and writer. The John Taylor (publisher) manuscript material in the Pforzheimer Collection consists of writings and correspondence. The writings include a draft review of T. S. Hughes's Travels in Sicily, Greece Albania; and a memo regarding the poet John Clare. The bulk of the correspondence is dated between 1820 and 1825 and relates to the Taylor and Hessey publishing firm and the London Magazine.
